Howrah Bridge
The short film was produced as part of a sound recording exercise initiated by Sasha Waltz in Kolkata.
The Howrah Bridge carries 1.5 million pedestrians and 1 million vehicles a day connecting the city’s main railway station with its centre.
The traffic creates an unusual sound scape resonating from water of the Hooghly river below.
