This film was commissioned as part of the exhibition Zürich– Dialoge zur Dichte / Dialogues on Densification at the ZAZ BELLERIVE / Zürcher Architekturzentrum. It explores a set of typologies that represent the majority of Zurich’s built up land surfce.

The brief was to appreciate the qualities of the mundane and average in the context of residential construction over the past century.
In a city which is radically increasing in population and density, the challenge is to maintain its architectural integrity.
